How to create a brand that communicates breakthrough AI innovation in life sciences, while staying approachable and distinct from standard biotech visuals? The founder already set on a name, Atlas Labs. He asked us for a clean yet futuristic identity that evoked the idea of maps and interconnected systems, while avoiding clichés of blue, dark, and overly “techy” biotech design.

Explorations

Before settling on the final identity, we tested multiple design directions, each exploring different metaphors: the wayfinding nature of maps and books, the dynamic flow of molecular systems, experimental typographic spaces, and modular geometric forms.

Solution

Each route was evaluated for its ability to convey credibility, innovation, and distinction within biotech. The modular system proved most compelling—flexible, multidimensional, and perfectly aligned with Atlas Labs' mission to navigate the complex landscape of human druggability.

Applications

The final identity extends seamlessly across Atlas Labs’ core touchpoints, from professional stationery to digital platforms. Business cards and print assets showcase the precision of the modular system, while the website and LinkedIn presence highlight its adaptability in dynamic, digital environments.
